FMS Departmental Finance’ provide budgetary support, advice and technical support to Financial Management Services, Legal & Democratic Services, Corporate and Customer Services and the Chief and Deputy-Chief Executive. Each year this department not only develops budgets for each area, but continually helps them to assess the use of their resources and the effectiveness of each team. The work of this department is complex and rewarding, involving high profile corporate contracts and procurement, management accounting, internal trading accounts, closure of accounts and a number of differing projects.
